Cheltenham Surfacing have been selected to be a sub-contractor to support Amey in delivering their surfacing commitments to Gloucestershire County Council. Amey commenced an initial five year contract with the council in 2014 which covers a 10,000km road network.
The work that Cheltenham Surfacing will carry out will be across the county’s road network and includes repairs and full re-surfacing.
Barry Taylor commented on behalf of Cheltenham Surfacing:
“We are delighted to have been selected by Amey to support them with their highways surfacing work. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the professional manner that we go about each and every project. We very much hope to be working with Amey on maintaining and improving Gloucestershire’s roads, for many years to come. We also hope that the visibility of this work will lead to us picking up more work locally, as we also carry out a wide range of commercial and domestic surfacing projects”.
Ruth Kinsella, Account Manager at Amey, said:
“We always look to work with local firms who are responsive to the community’s needs, particularly where the quality of the work is high and offers value for money. We are delighted to be working with Cheltenham Surfacing. Given they are a 4th generation, Gloucestershire family run firm, their brand will be familiar to many as they carry out work on the county’s roads on our behalf”.
